9) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE AN INCREASE TO THE CAPITAL PROJECT BUDGET AND\nCONSTRUCTION FOR THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS – 9 LOCATIONS HIGHWAY SAFETY\nIMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. HSIPL-5202(019), PLAN NO. P-722 TO THE NOT-TO-EXCEED\nCONTINGENCY AMOUNT AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Approve an increase of $150,000 to the Capital Project Budget for the Traffic Signal\nModifications – 9 Locations Highway Safety Improvement Project Federal Project No. HSIPL-\n5202(019), Job No. 7598, Plan No. P-722, to the not-to-exceed amount of $1,810,227;\nb. Approve an increase to the construction contingency to 20% increasing the not-to-exceed\namount from $122,942.95 to $245,886; and\nSpecial and Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda – January 6, 2025\nc. Adopt Resolution No. 8357 amending the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Adopted Budget\nappropriating Landscaping and Lighting Fund expenditures.
