L. APPROVE A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS ADOPTING THE PALM\nSPRINGS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TITLE VI PLAN\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Approve the adoption of Palm Springs International Airport Title VI Plan as required\nby the Federal Aviation Administration.\n2. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE PALM SPRINGS\nINTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TITLE VI PLAN AS REQUIRED BY THE FEDERAL\nAVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) FOR RECIPIENTS OF FEDERAL FINANCIAL\nASSISTANCE”.\n3. Authorize the Executive Director of Aviation or designee to execute all necessary\ndocuments related to implementation of the Title VI Plan, including minor revisions\nand routine updates required every three years by law, except in cases where\nsignificant revisions to FAA policies or federal guidelines necessitate substantial\nrevisions to and readoption of the Title VI Plan by the City Council.
