2.9 AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT AND\nCONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES\nCONTRACT FOR JAMBOREE ROAD/MICHELSON\nDRIVE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PROJECT (CIP\n321601)\nACTION:\n1) Award a construction contract in the amount of\n$25,499,882.34 for the Jamboree Road/Michelson\nDrive Pedestrian Bridge Project, CIP 321601, to the\nlowest responsive and responsible bidder, M. S.\nConstruction Management Group.\n2) Approve the budget adjustment appropriating\n$5,200,000 in IBC Funds, to the Jamboree\nRoad/Michelson Drive Pedestrian Bridge Project, CIP\n321601.\n3) Approve and authorize the Mayor to execute a\nprofessional services contract with SYRUSA\nEngineering, Inc. (SYRUSA) in the amount not-to-\nexceed $2,726,647.08 for construction management,\ninspection, materials/acceptance testing, and survey\nquality assurance services, for construction of the\nJamboree Road/Michelson Drive Pedestrian Bridge\nProject, CIP 321601.\n2.9
