10. NIB: REPLACEMENT OF ALHAMBRA POOLS MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT – F2M23-\n31, N2M23-32\nAlhambra Pools have heaters, chemical controllers, filters, chlorine tanks, pumps and\nother pool equipment that are reaching the end of their useful life. A fully operational\nswimming pool mechanical system is a necessity for Alhambra and Granada Park pools.\nSpecifications and bid documentation have been completed for the Alhambra Pools\nMechanical Equipment Replacement Project. The project will be funded with American\nRescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The project bids are due no later than 10:30 a.m. on\nMarch 30, 2023, in the office of the City Clerk and will be opened at 11:00 a.m. that same\nday.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the Alhambra Pools Mechanical Equipment Replacement\nProject; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
