7. ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE UPRR LOS\nNIETOS SUBDIVISION QUIET ZONE STUDY – AWARD OF CONTRACT\n(PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Award Task Order No. 8 to JMDiaz Inc., of City of Industry, California for the UPRR\nLos Nietos Subdivision Quiet Zone Study in the amount of $55,500; and\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute Task Order No. 8 for on-call professional\nengineering services with JMDiaz, Inc.; and\n3) Appropriate $55,500 from the Utility Users Tax (UUT) Capital Improvements Fund\nto fund the Task Order; and\n4) Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
