CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 25-003,\nAPPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE MEMORANDUM OF\nAGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY COUNCIL OF\nGOVERNMENTS (SGVCOG) FOR THE FOOD RECOVERY PROGRAM\nOn June 13, 2023, the City Council approved a 2-year agreement with the\nSan Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) to coordinate the\nimplementation of an edible food recovery recycling and enforcement\nprogram for designated food generators. This is the 2nd amendment to the\noriginal agreement\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 25-003 adding 2nd amend to the current\nagreement with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments to\ncontinue to implement an edible food recovery recycling and\nenforcement program for designated food generators; and\n2. Authorize City Manager or designee to negotiate and execute the\nagreement.
