CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT FOR INTERIM CITY ATTORNEY SERVICES BETWEEN\nTHE CITY AND OLIVAREZ MADRUGA LAW ORGANIZATION, LLP\nStaff is seeking City Council approval of the Professional Services\nAgreement for Interim City Attorney Services.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Consider and approve the Professional Services Agreement for\nInterim City Attorney Services between the City of South El Monte\nand Olivarez Madruga Law Organization, LLP, to continue to\nprovide interim City Attorney Services to the City, City Council and\nits Boards and Commissions while the City recruits a new\npermanent City Attorney. Consideration and approval are in\naccordance with Government Code Sections 53262, 54953(c)(3)\nand 54956(b); and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to make nonmaterial changes and\nexecute all implementing documents.
