Adopt Resolution No. 2025-01, 2025-02, 2025-03, and 2025-04 to Adopt New and Amended Job\nDescriptions and Salary Tables for Various Positions Across Multiple Departments, Amend the\nPosition Allocation List for FY 2024/25, and Place the Classifications in the Appropriate Bargaining\nUnits for Representation Purposes.\n— Approve the Resolutions: 1) adopting job descriptions and salary tables for the positions of\nPayroll Supervisor, Principal's (Accounting, Human Resources, Management and Planning),\nPublic Works Utilities Supervisor, Utility Billing Supervisor, Management Assistant, Payroll\nTechnician, Fire Division Chief, Fire Deputy Chief, Deputy Director of Community Development,\nDeputy Director of Public Works, Public Works Manager, and Public Works Utilities Manager; 2)\nplacing the classifications in the Administrative and Professional Employees’ Association\n(APEA), the Brea City Employees’ Association (BCEA), The Brea Fire Management Association\n(BFMA), and the Brea Management Association (BMA) bargaining units respectively for\nrepresentation purposes including moving the Building Official from APEA to BMA; and 3)\namending the City’s Position Allocation List to include these positions in the appropriate\nDepartment and/or Division.
