AMENDMENT TO CENTRAL SQUARE PERMITTING SOFTWARE CONTRACT\nTERMS\nThe City of San Gabriel Community Development Department seeks Council\napproval to amend the previously-approved Central Square permitting\nsoftware contract, transitioning from a generic professional services agreement\nto a software-specific agreement. This amendment better aligns with the\nunique requirements of software licensing, data management, and technical\nsupport associated with Central Square’s permitting system. There is no change\nto the previously-approved contract cost of $30,344.49 as a result of this\namendment. The updated agreement terms focus on improving service\nspecificity rather than altering the financial commitment. The amount is\nbudgeted within the Community Development Department’s annual operating\nbudget, and no budget adjustment is necessary.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the amendment to transition\nthe Central Square permitting software contract from a generic professional\nservices agreement to a software-specific agreement and authorize the City\nManager or his designee to sign the amended agreement.
