8.1 PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC INPUT ON HOUSING AND COMMUNITY\nDEVELOPMENT NEEDS CONCERNING THE FIVE-YEAR 2025-2029 CONSOLIDATED\nPLAN FOR THE ALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT\n(CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (HOME) FUNDS, AND\nTHE ANALYSIS OF IMPEDIMENTS TO FAIR HOUSING CHOICE\nComments:\nAs a recipient of federal funds, the City is required to submit a five-year Consolidated\nPlan, an Annual Action Plan, and monitor its progress, outcomes, and expenditures\nthrough the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report. Staff recommends\nthat the City Council conduct a public hearing to receive public input and provide direction\nto staff on the Five-Year Consolidated Plan, and Analysis of Impediments.
