A. A Public Hearing to Consider and Adopt Resolution No. 25-01 of the City Council Approving the\nCommunity Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Programs and Funding for Fiscal Year 2025-2026\n(page 55)\nPresented by Senior Planner\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to take the following action(s):\n1. Open the public hearing, receive testimony and presentation of the\nproposed programs; and\n2. Authorize City staff to release a Request for Proposal to seek qualified\nconsulting firms for the provisions of CDBG Housing Rehabilitation\nServices and CDBG Administration for Fiscal Year 2025-26; and\n3. Authorize City staff to release a Request for Proposal to seek qualified\norganizations/providers to administer the Youth Crime Prevention\nProgram for Fiscal Year 2025-26; and\n4. Adopt Resolution No. 25-01 approving the CDBG programs and\nbudget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026; and\n5. Authorize the City Manager to execute all contracts and agreements\nwith the Los Angeles County Development Authority, CDBG\nProgram subrecipients, and CDBG Program consultants.
