17. Fire Department Ladder Truck Replacement Purchase\nRecommendation -\n1. Waive competitive bidding and authorize the purchase of one Pierce\nladder truck for the El Segundo Fire Department in an amount not to\nexceed $2,092,702 ($1,993,049 purchase price + $99,653 5%\ncontingency) through a cooperative purchase, pursuant to El Segundo\nMunicipal Code § 1-7-9(C).\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee, in consultation with the City\nAttorney, to execute any associated agreements or documentation to\neffectuate the purchase.\n3. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
