Conduct a Public Hearing;\nb. Pending public testimony, approve introduction for first reading, in title only, and waive\nfurther reading of Ordinance No. 1728 titled, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City\nOf San Fernando, California amending Chapter 106 (Zoning) of the San Fernando Municipal\nCode to establish the Mixed Use Overlay Zone”; and\nc. Introduce for first reading, in title only, and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 1730\ntitled, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City Of San Fernando, California amending\nthe Official City Zoning Map of the City of San Fernando to add the Mixed Use Overlay to\ncertain properties in the C-1 and C-2 Zone Districts; and adopting a California Environmental\nQuality Act Mitigated Negative Declaration Addendum”; and\nSpecial and Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda – January 21, 2025\nd. Continue to a date uncertain, the introduction for the first reading of Ordinance No. 1729\ntitled “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of San Fernando, California amending\nthe Corridors Specific Plan (SP-5) Figure 4.1 – City Land Use Districts and Overlays Map to\nAdd the Downtown Residential Overlay and Flex Use Overlay to 12 Parcels and adopting a\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act Mitigated Negative Declaration Addendum”.
