CITY COUNCIL INITIATED ITEM — DISCUSSION REGARDING PLANNING\nCOMMISSION DEVELOPMENT\nAt the January 14, 2025, City Council meeting, Mayor Shawver requested that this item\nbe agendized for discussion. Mayor Shawver is requesting to discuss the assurance that\nthe City’s Planning Commission is informed of the inner workings of the City’s processes\nin developing the Stanton business community and ways in which the City can apprise\nthe Commission of any changes to local, State, and Federal laws.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council provide direction to staff.
