4. American with Disabilities Act Sidewalk Improvements – Community\nDevelopment Block Grant Project (CIP No. 50118) – Award of Contract. (500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Award a Construction Contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $142,120 to\nCJ Concrete Construction, Inc., for the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)\nSidewalk Improvements – Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)\nProject, CIP No. 50118, and authorize the City Manager to execute the\ncontract in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n2. Approve the plans and specifications for the ADA Sidewalk Improvements –\nCDBG Project, CIP No. 50118;\n3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to process change orders in an\namount not-to-exceed 30% of the total construction contract amount, as\nneeded, up to $ 42,600 for construction contingency; and\n4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and authorize\nthe City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\nAgreement No. _________
