9.a. PRESENTATION OF DESIGN OPTIONS FOR CIVIC CENTER AND\nINTERJURISDICTIONAL BICYCLE LANES PROJECT\nThe project includes installation of bicycle and pedestrian mobility\nimprovements along Santa Anita Avenue and Tyler Avenue. The project is\ncurrently in the design phase, and staff seeks City Council direction on two\ndesign alternatives presented for the proposed bicycle facilities within\nproject limits.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Receive presentation and provide direction regarding whether to\nimplement Design Option 1 or Design Option 2 for the project; and\n2. Direct the City Manager to finalize project design based on the\nselected Design Option.
