FARRIS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider introducing on first reading an\nOrdinance approving a Zone Text Amendment (ZTA) to the City’s regulations\nCity Council Agenda\nFebruary 3, 2025\nPage 9\ngoverning the construction and conveyance of Accessory Dwelling Units (“ADUs”)\nand Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (“JADUs”) to implement recent State\nregulations and finding the action to be statutorily exempt from CEQA under\nPublic Resources Code section 21080.17 and categorically exempt pursuant to\nsection 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRECOMMENDATION: Introduce on first reading Ordinance No. 25-________:\n“AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD AMENDING\nCHAPTER 19.36 OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE\nREGULATING ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS AND, JUNIOR ACCESSORY\nDWELLING UNITS AND FINDING THE ACTION TO BE STATUTORILY\nEXEMPT FROM CEQA UNDER PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE §21080.17 AND\nSECTION 15061(b)(3) OF THE STATE CEQA GUIDELINES.”
