GARLAND]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of a Construction Agreement\nwith Bear Electrical Solutions, LLC to construct CIP 2502, Battery Back-up\nSystem (BBS) Inventory and Modernization Project.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Construction Agreement with Bear\nElectrical Solutions, LLC in the amount of $554,000 for the construction of CIP\nCity Council Agenda\nFebruary 3, 2025\nPage 7\n2502, Battery Back-up System (BBS) Inventory and Modernization Project, and\nauthorize the City Manager or designee to execute documents incident to the\nAgreement; 2) Authorize the City Engineer to approve change orders to the\nConstruction Agreement in an amount not to exceed 20% ($110,800) of the\nAgreement amount for a total not to exceed amount of $664,800; and 3) Adopt\nResolution No. 25-_______: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR\nTHE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2502, BATTERY BACK-UP SYSTEM (BBS)\nINVENTORY AND MODERNIZATION PROJECT, PURSUANT TO\nGOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6.”
