6. RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISED COMPREHENSIVE MEMORANDUM OF\nUNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH THE ALHAMBRA POLICE OFFICERS’\nASSOCIATION (APOA) – F2M25-2, R2M25-6, C87-16C, M2M25-14\nPreviously, the City Council approved a revised MOU between the City and APOA on\nAugust 26, 2024. Since then, CalPERS staff reached out to City staff regarding a need to\nrevise certain language in the City and APOA’s existing MOU for compliance purposes. In\nparticular, City staff complied by revising language pertaining to Drone Officer as First\nResponder and Acting Assignment as Watch Commander and Officer in Charge (Patrol).\nNo changes were made to benefits pertaining to these assignments. The changes have\nbeen reviewed and approved by APOA.\nRecommended Action: City Council adopt Resolution No. R2M25-6 entitled: A\nResolution of the Alhambra City Council approving a Revised Comprehensive\nMemorandum of Understanding between the City of Alhambra and the Alhambra Police\nOfficers’ Association that incorporates California Public Employees’ Retirement System\n(CalPERS) required revisions; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
