7. PROGRESS UPDATE – FLEET\nELECTRIFICATION AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE\nCHARGING IMPLEMENTATION PLAN\nRecommendations:\n(1) Receive and file this update on the Fleet\nElectrification and Electric Vehicle Charging\nImplementation Plan;\n(2) Direct staff to release a competitive Request for\nProposals to select a vendor for the deployment of\ncharging infrastructure at City Hall and the\nCorporation Yard;\n(3) Direct staff to continue collaborating with\nSouthern California Edison (SCE) to finalize the\nCity’s application for the SCE Charge Ready\nTransport Program; and\n(4) Find that said actions are statutorily exempt from\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA),\npursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15262 –\nFeasibility and Planning Study.
