Acceptance of Annual Audit Reports for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2024\nThe certified public accounting firm of Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP ( LSL) was\nengaged by the City Council to perform an audit of the financial statements and\nperform compliance testing of the City of Rosemead of the fiscal year ended June 30,\n2024. LSL conducted the audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing\nstandards and issued an unmodified ( clean) audit opinion on the financial statements.\nThis report provides a summary of the audit report to be used as a companion to the\npublished Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Also included in the audit are\nRosemead Housing Development Corporation and\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda February 11, 2025\nthe Rosemead Housing Development Corporation Financial and Compliance Report,\nand other documents related to the financial audit.\nRecommendation: That the City Council receive and file the City of Rosemead\nAnnual Comprehensive Financial Report, the Rosemead Housing Development\nCorporation, Annual Financial Statements, and other related audit reports for fiscal\nyear ended June 30, 2024.
