APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATION FROM\nONELEGACY TO CONDUCT A ONE AND FIVE KILOMETER RUN-WALK\nFAMILY FESTIVAL ON AND AROUND THE AZUSA PACIFIC UNIVERSITY\nWEST CAMPUS AND THROUGH THE ROSEDALE COMMUNITY IN THE CITY\nOF AZUSA\nThis item is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act under Article\n19, Section 15304: Minor Alterations to Land, Class 4(e) consists of Minor Temporary Uses\nof land having negligible or no permanent effects on the environment, such as a Temporary\nEvent.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute the Special Event\nPermit Agreement for OneLegacy's Donate Life 1K/5K Run Walk, in a form acceptable to\nthe City Attorney, on behalf of the City; Authorize the City Manger to execute the\nReimbursement Agreement for OneLegacy's Donate Life 1K/5K Run Walk, in a form\nacceptable to the City Attorney, on behalf of the City; and Adopt Resolution No. 2025-C13\nauthorizing the closure of certain City of Azusa streets as discussed herein for a limited time,\nto allow for the event to take place.
