F.2. UPDATES TO THE CITY’S ADVISORY BOARDS AND DISCUSSION\nREGARDING POTENTIAL FUTURE CHANGES TO THE CITY’S\nCOMMISSIONS AND ADVISORY BOARDS [J. JIMENEZ, M.\nCROWDER, L. MORALES, D. WILSON, C. SAFRIET]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider and discuss various proposed\nchanges to the City’s Commissions and Advisory Boards including:\nreducing the number of At-large appointees to the City’s Advisory Boards\nfrom four (4) members to two (2) thus reducing the number of appointed\nofficials from nine (9) to seven (7) members, amending the meeting\nfrequency for the City’s Advisory Boards from monthly to every other month,\nrevising the Attendance Policy for the City’s Advisory Boardmembers, and\ndiscussion of future changes that may be implemented over time.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve Resolution No. 25-______:\n“RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD CHANGING THE MEETING FREQUENCY AND NUMBER\nOF MEMBERS FOR THE CITY’S ADVISORY BOARDS;” 2) Adopt revised\nBy-laws for the City’s Advisory Boards; and 3) Discuss other changes to the\nCity’s Commissions and Advisory Boards.
