B.8. AGREEMENT WITH KOONTZ BUILDING, LLC TO AMEND THE LEASE\nAGREEMENT AT 8916 SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD FOR AN\nADDITIONAL TWO YEARS [S. CAMPBELL, B. LEAGUE, A. BARTLE]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving an Amendment to an\nexisting Lease Agreement with Koontz Building LLC (City Hall West) to\nextend the term of the Agreement by an additional two years commencing\non April 1, 2025.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve Amendment No. 2 to extend the term\nof the Lease Agreement with Koontz Building LLC, for City staff office space\n(City Hall West) at 8916 Santa Monica Blvd, by two years commencing April\n1, 2025 with the right to terminate the agreement with 90-day notice; 2)\nAuthorize an increase to the Lease Agreement amount of $1,818,514.58 to\nadd $533,004 for a new total not to exceed $2,351,518.58; and 3) Authorize\nthe City Manager, or designee, to execute documents incident to the\nAgreement.
