C.1. REQUEST TO AMEND THE PACIFIC DESIGN CENTER SPECIFIC PLAN\nTO ALLOW MORE FLEXIBILITY IN THE TENANT MIX [N. MARICICH, J.\nALKIRE, G. YOLLES, D. VU, A. GALLO]:\nSUBJECT: The proposal is a request to amend the Pacific Design Center\nSpecific Plan to (1) allow more flexibility for the vacant space to be occupied\nby new tenants, (2) eliminate the minimum square footage requirements for\ndesign showrooms and other defined uses, and (3) revise the applicable\nparking rate for uses within the Pacific Design Center. No expansion,\naddition, or physical change to the existing Blue, Green, and Red Buildings\nis proposed. This request is subject to CEQA and an addendum to Pacific\nDesign Center Final Environmental Impact Report was prepared, and which\nanalyzed the project.\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council hold a\npublic hearing, consider all pertinent testimony, and adopt Resolution No.\n25-______: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nWEST HOLLYWOOD ADOPTING THE ADDENDUM TO THE CERTIFIED\nFINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND APPROVING AN\nAMENDMENT TO THE PACIFIC DESIGN CENTER SPECIFIC PLAN\nLOCATED AT 8687 MELROSE AVENUE, WEST HOLLYWOOD,\nCALIFORNIA, AND 750 N. SAN VICENTE BOULEVARD, WEST\nHOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA.”
