CONSIDERATION AND ADOPTION OF SECOND READING OF\nORDINANCE NO. 1280, AMENDING SOUTH EL MONTE'S MUNICIPAL\nCODE SECTIONS 2.48.020 AND 2.48.130 OF CHAPTER 2.48 TO\nINCREASE THE NUMBER OF COMMISSIONERS ON THE COMMUNITY\nSERVICES COMMISSION FROM FIVE TO SEVEN COMMISSIONERS\nAND AMENDING SECTIONS 2.50.020 AND 2.50.100 OF CHAPTER 2.50\nREMOVING AGE RESTRICTIONS\nStaff is seeking City Council to adopt second reading of Ordinance No.\n1280, amending South El Monte's Municipal Code sections 2.48.020 and\n2.48.130 of chapter 2.48 to increase the number of commissioners on the\nCommunity Services Commission from five to seven commissioners and\namending sections 2.50.020 and 2.50.100 of chapter 2.50 removing age\nrestrictions.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council waive second\nreading and adopt Ordinance No. 1280, amending South El Monte's\nMunicipal Code sections 2.48.020 and 2.48.130 of chapter 2.48 to increase\nthe number of commissioners on the Community Services Commission\nfrom five to seven commissioners and amending sections 2.50.020 and\n2.50.100 of chapter 2.50 removing age restrictions.
