31. Commemorative 175th Anniversary Badge Program Agreement\nAmendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Internal Services, through the\nExecutive Officer of the Board, to amend an agreement and issue a temporary\nlicense to Entenmann-Rovin, the County's authorized badge vendor, to be the\nretail distributor of the commemorative 175th anniversary badge using the\nDepartment's name and insignias; authorize the Sheriff to allow authorized\nsworn designated uniformed personnel to participate in the optional and\nvoluntary Program and wear the specially-designed commemorative 175th\nanniversary badge from April 1, 2025, through May 1, 2026; and authorize the\nretention of the commemorative badges at the end of the authorized period as\nkeepsakes so long as they are encased in a block of Lucite, or similar\nmaterials, to render the badges unusable for active service.
