A. FENCES, WALLS, AND HEDGES HEIGHT DISCUSSION\nOn January 21, 2025, the City Council considered Zone Text Amendment\n(ZTA24-004) relating to hedge heights in residential zones. The City Council\ncontinued the item and directed staff to gather additional information for\nfurther discussion at a future meeting. There is no fiscal impact as this is an\ninformation item only.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council provide comments or directions on\nfences, walls, and hedge heights in residential zones and within the public right-\nof-way or public sidewalk area.
