12. AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR\nPOLICE DEPARTMENT NETWORK CABLING\nIMPROVEMENTS\nRecommendations:\n(1) Award and authorize the City Manager to execute\na contract with Intelinet, Inc., in the amount of\n$287,500, for the construction of the Police\nDepartment Network Cabling Improvements;\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to approve project-\nrelated expenses and contract change orders for\nunforeseen circumstances in an amount not to exceed\n$57,500; and\n(3) Approve the transfer of an appropriation of\n$45,000 from the Furniture, Fixture, Equipment\nReplacement account to the Police Department\nNetwork Cabling Improvements project, bringing the\ntotal project budget to $345,000.
