10. ACCEPTANCE OF HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS\nWASTE SMALL PROJECTS GRANT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF RESOURCES,\nRECYCLING, AND RECOVERY\nRecommendations:\n(1) Authorize the City Manager to accept a $50,000\ngrant from the California Department of Resources,\nRecycling, and Recovery; and\n(2) Approve an appropriation of $50,000 with a\nmatching increase in estimated grant revenues to\nassist with a targeted household hazardous waste\neducation campaign that includes multi-media\nmaterials to promote source reduction, proper use,\nand disposal of household hazardous waste.
