RESOLUTION APPROVING ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY NO. 300-15.2, SUPPORT OF\nLOCAL BUSINESSES AND DISABLED VETERAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (DVBE) IN CITY\nPURCHASES\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a Resolution approving Administrative Policy No. 300-16,\nSupport of Local Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) Policy in City\npurchases; 2) Authorize the City Manager's Office to issue Administrative Policy No. 300-15.2,\nSupport of Local Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises Policy, to provide local\nand disabled veteran businesses increased access to City business by encouraging the\npurchase of supplies, materials, equipment and non-professional services from businesses\nlocated within the City of Buena Park and state-certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises\n(DVBE); and 3) Adopt an ordinance amending Chapter 3.28 (Purchasing Systems) of Title 3\n(Revenue and Finance) of the Buena Park Municipal Code relating to local bidder preference.
