REVIEW OF LOCAL POLICIES AND\nPROGRAMS RELATED TO THE PROVISION OF\nHOMELESS SERVICES\nRecommendations:\n(1) Offer comments and guidance as to whether the\nCity should continue operating the Alternative\nSleeping Location (ASL) beyond June 30, 2025, and\nunder what conditions: Option 1. Locally Verified\nShelter Option 2. Close the Shelter Option 3. Local\nPreference with Cost Sharing Focus Option 4. Locals\nPreference first, then Others Experiencing\nHomelessness (Current Model);\n(2) Discuss and consider authorizing the closure of the\nASL’s daytime drop-in program across all options\neffective July1, 2025; and\n(3) Approve the continuation of the Project\nHomecoming Program, resources permitting.
