14. Award a Contract to Doug Martin Contracting Company, Inc., for Citywide Slurry\nSeal Project FY 2024-25, Plan No. 1392, in an amount not to exceed $309,942\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n— 1. Adopt a Categorical Exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act\nPursuant to Section 15301(c) of the California Code of Regulations;\n— 2. Award the Contract to Doug Martin Contracting Company, Inc for Citywide\nSlurry Seal Project FY 2024-25, Plan No. 1392, in the amount of $309,942;\n— 3. Authorize a ten percent (10%) contingency in the amount of $30,994;\n— 4. Authorize the Public Works Director to execute any necessary change orders in\nan amount not to exceed 10% of the original contract amount; and\n— 5. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the agreement including\nminimal and/or non-substantive changes.
