11. Update on Addressing Homelessness\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n— 1. Receive an update on services provided and efforts undertaken to assist\nindividuals experiencing homelessness in the City;\n— 2. Award a Professional Services Agreement to the Los Angeles Centers for\nAlcohol and Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA) in the amount of $262,500 a year for a two-\nyear term for homeless services and temporary housing, with one optional one-year\nextension, for a not to exceed amount of $525,000; and\n— 3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the two-year\nProfessional Services Agreement with L.A. CADA with one optional one-year\nextension, including making minor non-substantive changes.
