1.h Public Works Agreement with Kasa Construction Inc. for Award of RFP for Landscape\nImprovements Project at Parque De Los Vaquero\nFiscal Impact:\nExpense: $128,888 Park Impact Fees\nContingency 10%: 12,888 Park Impact Fees\nTotal Project Budget: $141,777 Park Impact Fees\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that City Council take the following actions:\n1. Approve the Public Works Agreement with KASA Construction for the Award of the\nRFP for the Landscape Improvement project at Parque De Los Vaqueros for a not-to-\nexceed amount of $141,777; and\n2. Authorize the Interim City Administrator to approve a 10% contingency for contract\nchange orders not-to-exceed the amount of $12,888; and\n3. Approve Resolution No. R-2025-10, A Resolution of the City Charter of the City\nCouncil of the City of Placentia, California authorizing a budget amendment in Fiscal\nYear 2024-25 in compliance with City Charter of the City of Placentia §§1206 and\n1209 pertaining to appropriations for actual expenditures; and\n4. Authorize the Interim City Administrator and/or his designee to execute all necessary\ndocuments, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
