10. CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO INCREASE FUNDING FOR THE 25-221\nFAMILIES FORWARD TENANT BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE\n(TBRA) PROGRAM BY $50,000 FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR\n(FY) 2024-2025 AND INCLUDE UP TO 3 ADDITIONAL YEARLY\nRENEWALS FOR UP TO $200,000 EACH YEAR, IF FUNDING IS\nAVAILABLE.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager (or designee) and the City Clerk to execute an\namendment to award additional HOME funding in the amount of $50,000 to\nFamilies Forward for the City’s Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program\n(TBRA) for FY 2024-2025 and include up to 3 additional yearly renewals for\nup to $200,000 each year, if funding is available.\n2. Approve an appropriation of $175,000 to recognize the unspent allocation\nfrom prior years within the HOME Fund (Fund 205) that has been added to\nthe FY 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan as a minor amendment to increase\nfunding to the HOME TBRA program and Single-Family Housing\nRehabilitation program.\nAttachments: Agenda Report\n1.
