CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO INCREASE FUNDING FOR THE 25-221\nFAMILIES FORWARD TENANT BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE\n(TBRA) PROGRAM BY $50,000 FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR\n(FY) 2024-2025 AND INCLUDE UP TO 3 ADDITIONAL YEARLY\nRENEWALS FOR UP TO $200,000 EACH YEAR, IF FUNDING IS\nAVAILABLE.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager (or designee) and the City Clerk to execute an\namendment to award additional HOME funding in the amount of $50,000 to\nFamilies Forward for the City’s Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program\n(TBRA) for FY 2024-2025 and include up to 3 additional yearly renewals for\nup to $200,000 each year, if funding is available.\n2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute change orders with Pivot\nSolutions LLC, dba: Maaco Store that would authorize an increase in\npurchase authority to $200,000 for vehicle paint and body repair services for\nthe remainder of the current fiscal year and annually thereafter.\n2. Approve an appropriation of $100,000 in the Equipment Replacement Fund\n(Fund 601) fund balance for additional paint and body repair services.
