SECTION 15061(B)(3) (COMMON SENSE EXEMPTION)\nCOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT\n3) CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK AND AUTHORIZATION TO FILE\nTHE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE CORTEZ PARK SENIOR & COMMUNITY\nCENTER ROOF AND HVAC IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT - PROJECT NO. 24009\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Accept the work performed by AC Pros, Inc. for the Cortez Park Senior & Community\nCenter Roof and HVAC Improvements Project (Project No. 24009) with a final cost of\n$1,474,242.76; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager and Assistant City Clerk to execute the Notice of\nCompletion and file the Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles\nRegistrar-Recorder; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to release the retention once appropriate.
