8. ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR\nTHE FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 ANNUAL RESURFACING PROJECT (PW-712-24);\nAWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO HARDY & HARPER, INC. IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $639,000.00; APPROVE ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION\nEXPENDITURES NOT TO EXCEED $63,900.00, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY\n10% OF THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT AMOUNT; AUTHORIZE THE CITY\nMANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL CONTRACT DOCUMENTS; AND AUTHORIZE THE\nCITY CLERK TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION UPON ACCEPTANCE\nOF THE WORK BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution\nR25-08 to:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025\nAnnual Resurfacing Project (City Project No. PW-712-24);\n2. Award a construction contract to Hardy & Harper, Inc. in the amount of\n$639,000.00;\n3. Approve additional construction expenditures not to exceed $63,900.00,\nwhich is approximately 10% of the construction contract amount;\n4.
