D. Accept Completed Improvements and Authorize Filing of a Notice of Completion\nfor City Project No. 24009 – Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Concrete Replacements\nOn December 10, 2024, the City Council authorized the award of a construction\ncontract to CT& T Concrete Paving, Inc. with a total construction budget of\n390,487.08 ( including 10% construction contingency). This project included\nremoval and replacement of existing damaged sidewalks, damaged curb and gutter,\nnon-compliant ADA curb ramps, damaged concrete crosswalk headers, and removal\nand replacement of existing trees that have caused damage to concrete infrastructure\nwithin the City’ s right-of-way.\nRecommendation: That the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Accept project completion for the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Concrete Replacement\nProject No. 24009 as performed by CT& T Concrete Paving, Inc. with the final\ncontract amount of $386,125.29; and\n2. Authorize the recordation of Notice of Completion with the Los Angeles County\nRecorder and the release of retention funds 35 days thereafter.
