11. APPROVAL OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR THE ALHAMBRA COMMUNITY\nTRANSIT SERVICES RIDERSHIP STUDY – F2M25-16, K2M24-380, M2M25-45\nOn October 21, 2024, City staff entered into an agreement with Kimley-Horn for the\nAlhambra Community Transit Service Ridership Study in the amount of $59,779.58. After\nreviewing the draft extension of Task No. 3 of the Study, staff requested Kimley-Horn\nsolicit more feedback from residents from seven other locations in the City using a\nMandarin Chinese translator. Kimley-Horn provided a quote for $9,000.00 for the\nadditional work.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a contract amendment with Kimley-\nHorn (K2M24-380) in the amount of $9,000.00 for a grand contract total not to exceed\n$68,779.58 for the Alhambra Community Transit Service Ridership Study, subject to final\nlanguage approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney, authorize the City Manager\nto execute the amendment; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
