12. APPROVAL OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH\nPERFORMANCE TRUCK REPAIR, INC. – F2M21-41, C2M21-35, M2M25-46\nOn May 10, 2021, the City Council awarded a contract to Performance Truck Repair, Inc.\nfor preventative maintenance and service repair for emergency fire apparatus in the Fire\nDepartment fleet in the amount of $265,000.00. On June 27, 2022, the City Council\napproved an amendment to modify the amount not to exceed $365,000.00 each year,\ncommencing July, 2021 and terminating June 30, 2026. Due to unforeseen major\napparatus repairs and the age of the fleet, it is necessary to increase the contract by an\nadditional $100,000.00 per year to continue the necessary maintenance and repairs for\nthe remainder of the contract.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve an amendment to the contract\nbetween the City of Alhambra and Performance Truck Repair Inc. (Contract No. C2M21-\n35) for an additional amount of $100,000.00 to reflect a not to exceed amount of\n$465,000.00 per year, subject to final language approval by the City Manager and City\nAttorney; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.\n(M2M25-46)
