15. NOTICE OF COMPLETION: MEN'S RESTROOM REMODEL AT THE ALHAMBRA\nCITY YARD PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING – F2M20-66, C2M24-40, M2M25-49\nOn June 24, 2024, the City Council awarded a contract to Sanz Construction for the City\nYard Public Works Building Restroom Project in the amount of $152,200.00. One change\norder, amounting to $13,125.00, was issued for the project to install new walls and\nadditional plumbing. This project was inspected by staff and all work was completed in\naccordance with the City’s requirements and specifications. As such, it would be\nappropriate for the City Council to accept this project as complete and instruct the Notice\nof Completion be filed with the County of Los Angeles Recorder’s Office.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept the work of Sanz Construction for the\nremodeling of the men's restroom at the Alhambra City Yard project as complete in the\namount of $165,325.00; direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County\nof Los Angeles for recordation; instruct the Finance Director to release the 5% retention\n35 days from the date of recordation if no liens are filed; and, direct staff to undertake the\nsteps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
