1.d Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cities and HOPE Center of Orange County for\nNational Opioid Statement Funds\nFiscal Impact:\nExpense: $ 15,000 (910000-6290)\nRevenue: $151,924 (910000-4299)\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions to:\n1. Authorize the Interim City Administrator to execute an Agreement between the HOPE\nCenter and the Cities of Placentia, Brea, Buena Park and Fullerton, for a three-year\nterm using the respective cities’ National Opioid Settlement Funds, including an\nexpenditure of $15,000 for Placentia’s portion to fund one Street Outreach Case\nManager position; and\n2. Approve Resolution R-2025-12 amending the FY24/25 budget by adding an\nappropriation and revenue in the amount of $151,924 for National Opioid Settlement\nfunds received and expected to be received; and\n3. Authorize the Interim City Administrator and/or his designee to execute all necessary\ndocuments, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
