I.15 IRONWOOD LINE EXTENSION (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nAuthorization of the Award of a Construction Contract to Herman Weissker, Inc. for\nIronwood Line Extension from Moreno Beach Drive to Redlands Boulevard, Project\nNumber 805 0080\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Authorize the award of a Construction Contract to Herman Weissker, Inc. for the\nIronwood Line Extension Project 805 0080 from Moreno Beach Drive to Redlands\nBoulevard; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Herman Weissker, Inc. for\nthe amount of $2,689,965.50, funded by the Moreno Valley Utility’s Restricted Assets\nFund (6011); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Herman Weissker, Inc. for the\namount of $2,689,965.50 when the contract has been signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent Amendments to the\nAgreement with Herman Weissker, Inc. within the City Council approved annual\nbudgeted amounts, including the authority to authorize the associated purchase\norders in accordance with the terms of the agreement, subject to the approval of the\nCity Attorney.
