8.7 APPROVE FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH VASQUEZ & COMPANY LLP\n– PROFESSIONAL AUDITING SERVICES\nComments:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Amend the audit services contract and authorize Purchase Order (PO) change order\nof $28,500 in FY 2024-25 for 136 additional hours of audit work performed by Vasquez &\nCompany LLP (Vasquez) for the FY 2023-24 audit\n2. Amend the audit services contract to pay Vasquez additional $7,500 per year starting\nthe FY 2024-25 audit (in FY 2025-26) for GASB 87, GASB 96, GASB 77 and other GASB\nimplementations\n3. Adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVE FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH\nVASQUEZ & COMPANY LLP PROFESSIONAL AUDITING SERVICES” (FIN)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1.
