PH 1. Public Hearing on City Vacancies and Recruitment and Retention Efforts (Assembly\nBill 2561/Government Code Section 3502.3)\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. City Council to open the public hearing and consider public testimony at which the\nCity will report on workforce vacancies, and recruitment and retention efforts and\nthe City's recognized employee organizations will be provided an opportunity to\nmake a presentation on such subjects (Procedures for the Public Hearing on City\nVacancies and Recruitment and Retention Efforts are attached hereto as Attachment\n“A.”); and\n2. Receive and File a staff report on the City’s workforce vacancies, and recruitment\nand retention efforts in compliance with Assembly Bill (“AB”) 2561. (Gov. Code §\n3502.3.).
