2. Authorize the Acceptance of Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Law Enforcement Agency\nDe-Escalation Grant from the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS)\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) 1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-35 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2022 LAW\nENFORCEMENT AGENCY DE-ESCALATION GRANT FROM THE OFFICE OF\nCOMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES (COPS) IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$181,260 AND AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 OPERATING BUDGET TO INCREASE\nREVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $181,260\n2) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute any and all agreements on behalf\nof the City, in substantially the form submitted, subject to review and approval as to form\nby the City Attorney.\nAttachments: Staff Report- COPS De-Escalation Grant\nAttachment No. 1 - Reso. 2023-35\nAttachment No. 2 - Award Agreement
