Audiovisual System Upgrades to the City Council Chambers – City Project\nNo. 31030\nStaff is seeking City Council direction on design elements for the City Council\nChambers audio and video ( audiovisual) upgrades project. This project aims to\nimplement permanent audiovisual improvements to enhance public meetings and\nvirtual accessibility. Upgrades include replacing the existing equipment with state-\nof-the-art equipment, including new display(s) system(s), enhanced audio system\nwith all new direct- beam microphones, wireless connectivity, two video cameras\nwith pan-tilt-zoom capabilities, a broadcast video switcher, new speaker amplifier,\nweb conferencing equipment, and a PC workstation with 27- inch monitor.\nRecommendation: That the City Council review the proposed design options and\nprovide direction on the preferred audiovisual and branding upgrade configuration.
