5. Recommendation to Increase Citation Amounts for Unlicensed Vending\nRecommendation: that the City Council A.) Conduct a public hearing; and B.) Determine\nthat Ordinance No. 1198-23 is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n("CEQA") pursuant to Sections 15378 and 1506l(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; and C.)\nIntroduce for first reading by title only Ordinance No. 1198-23, an Ordinance to Increase\nCitation Amounts for Unlicensed Vending; and D.) Adopt Resolution No. CC-2302-005\namending Chapter 1.11 of the Lawndale Municipal Code administrative fine schedule\npertaining to the illegal sales of food, goods, and services within the City of Lawndale in\nthe amount of $250 for the first offense, $500 for the second offense, and $1,000 for the\nthird and all subsequent violations.
